Labor Day Cruise

It has been a while since I posted, but don't worry, we made it back from the cruise safe and sound. We had a wonderful time, despite the little hurricane that visited us. When we got on the boat they finally told us our new itinerary. We were going to Key West and then over to Cozumel. Well that plan didn't last long as Gustav changed it's course. Instead we left the port and went north. We basically ran away from the storm until it passed and then we turned around and went back south. Finally after a few days of cruising we made it to Cozumel. The first day and a half was a little rocky. We definitely were grateful for the Dramamine I had brought with me. We all responded differently to it. For me it knocked me out and for Charles, well let's just say it made him feel high. Isabelle didn't seem fazed by the rocky waters. We all had a wonderful time playing together on the ship. Isabelle had the time of her life. I think everyone on the ship knew her name by the time we got off. People would come by and talk to her and pick her up and walk around with her. She loved it. And boy did she love the food! I have never seen her eat so much in my life. We were ordering food for her at breakfast, lunch and dinner. She loved all the fruit, the mac and cheese, the chicken and especially the sweets! Isabelle grew very fond of our server John, he did bring the food after all. One night he was holding her and I went to take her back and she turned from me and shook her head no. We proceeded to try with Papa and all the family...nope, she just wanted John. I am going to have trouble with her when she is older! It was pretty funny. I love cruises and I can't wait for the next one!

I'm so glad you guys made it! Sounds a little crazy, but still fun. I love that Isabelle was soaking it all in and getting to know everyone- sounds a lot like her wonderful mommy. You guys are really a beautiful family! Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon.
