The last two days of the cruise we spent in Kauai. Again we rented a car and set off to explore.
Waimea Canyon
Our first stop was up the Waimea Canyon. It was pretty incredible. They call it the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

Next stop: The Spouting Horn

While enjoying the Spouting Horn, we spotted several giant sea turtles swimming in the cove. They were fascinating to watch.
We found a great beach called Poipu Beach Park. It was perfect for families with children. The water was calm and there was a little sand bar that went out to a little island with rocks and more beach area. We sat on the sand bar for a while as water came at us from both sides. Anya loved it. Isabelle isn't as fond of sand so it took her a little while to get used to it. We could have spent all day there.
