Hawaii Days 9 and10- Oahu

Since we had traveled all the way to Hawaii, we decided we wanted to spend a few more days after the cruise in Oahu. We got a place at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. It really was a "village." It was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed pool hopping in the 3 different pools. Our favorite part of the hotel was a man made lagoon that was perfect for wading with the kids. Carol and her family stayed with a friend about a half hour away. Ma, Aunt Louise, my mom, Roland and the kids stayed at another hotel in the center of Waikiki, only a few minute walk from our place.

Beautiful sunset

We loved all the torches that lined the beach and city at night.

We got to spend the 4th of July in Waikiki. We kicked it off with a barbeque at my mom's hotel.

After a relaxing day at the beach and pool we watched the sunset and then the fireworks right there on the beach. It was beautiful watching the fireworks over the ocean.

Watching the fireworks

I love the difference in the expressions from Isabelle watching the fireworks to Anya watching them for her first time!

I tried to get a good picture of the girls and this was the result.

We had a fabulous 4th of July, definitely one we'll remember for a long time.

Looks like a fun famly trip! I love your little girls' cheeks!! Adorable. I just want to pinch them, although the computer screen prevents me from doing so!

I also love the progression of pictures of Isabelle and Anya at the end of this post... two sisters, so fun!
