Once we got home, Charles took some much needed days off. He had been worked like crazy in New York. He probably averaged a 2am arrival at home every night. After 2 and 1/2 months of that, he definitely earned a few days off. To kick it off we went to Disney with family.
Right before Charles' mom got to NY, Charles got a phone call from a member of the Stake Presidency asking him if we were planning on going back to Florida. When he said yes, he asked him if he would accept a call as second counselor in the Bishopric. The call caught us off guard, especially since we had been away for a while. But Charles accepted the call. Charles called his parents, who were on the way to take his mom to the airport, and asked his dad if he could come to Florida so he could ordain him a high priest. He booked a ticket and came and spent a week with us. We are so grateful he was able to come and be there with us and for Charles.

Anya was pretty into the parade, especially when Mickey Mouse came by.
